Are you looking for a part-time role where you can really make a differenceWe are looking for kind people to join our small friendly team of Day Brighteners who provide companionship for older people to help them live independently at home.Please note:Due to the location of some of our clients, a full driving license is required for this opportunity.What do Day Brighteners doOur team offers a range of services such as:• Accompanying people to appointments (e.g. hairdressing, dental, hospital, meeting friends)• Enjoying trips out - shopping, cinema, walks, activity classes and any other activities you come up with together!• Providing respite care for family members (companionship to give carers a break but no medical or intimate care)Who are we looking forIf you are enthusiastic, friendly and fun, this could be the perfect role for you. We’re looking for someone who is:• A caring and kind individual who is compassionate• Trustworthy and flexible in approach• Keen to work as part of a small friendly team• Looking to make a real difference and brighten clients’ daysHours of work are flexible and weekend work which is becoming increasingly popular attracts a higher hourly rate.
