Duties included in the role are:
  • Mechanical fitting and assembly of mechanical components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Train to become proficient in the manufacture of key products
  • Assist with possible engineering issues in various states of manufacturing.
  • Operate overhead cranes and lifting equipment
  • Support warranty repair work on customers premises
  • Perform failure analysis on warranty and service calls, to determine the cause of malfunction
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop method statements
  • Delivering demonstrations to ensure that customers are educated on safe and effective use of equipment
