Job Description

Job Title: Gardener / Groundsperson / HandypersonLocation: Winsford, CW7Salary: £22,000 - £23,000 per annumJob type: Full time, PermanentA Busy family are looking for someone to help maintain their large house with 18 acres keeping horses, sheep and chickens and has a swimming pool.They need a Gardener/Groundsman to join the team which already includes a Groom and Nanny/Housekeeper. Youll work 5 days a week full time, 0800 to 1630 or other similar hours by arrangement.Job Description

  • Gardening and tending vegetable beds.
  • Field maintenance.
  • Operating machinery - training will be provided.
  • Handy man for jobs around the house and farm.
  • Pool maintenance including water testing and pool hoovering - training will be provided.
  • Taking cars for weekly wash, screen wash, oil and tyre checks, fuelling up.
  • Occasional dog walking and running errands e.g. taking animals to vets, picking up animal feeds, wheat and chicken house feed, drive children to school.
  • Managing maintenance of equipment/looking after it and liaising with maintenance firms as appropriate.
  • Maintaining a smart feel to the premises e.g. sweeping, jet wash, general care and maintenance.

  • Reliable and punctual
