We have a surgery looking to recruit a new permanent part time ANP on a salaried basis for 2 days a week. You must be able to work Thursdays and Fridays ideally - which is a fab working pattern - leaving you with an extended weekend!The hours are flexible, as are start/finish times, they are happy to work around the candidate and negotiate on a case by case basis.They are needing someone who is experience with running their own Minor Illness clinics, who can assess, diagnose and treat autonomously, so prescribing will be essential for the role. Ideally youll have, or be close to finishing, your MSc in Advanced Practice.Youll not be involved with QOF or chronic disease management within this position as this is done by the Practice Nursing team. There will be no home visits required either. You will need to be comfortable with telephone triage and with handling more acuteconcerns.The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary and employment package, including 6 weeks of annual leave + bank holidays off, NHS pension and indemnity cover included. There is also free parking on site for staff at no additional charge.The team youll be joining is comprised of 2GPs, 2PNs and a HCA, who care for a patient list of 6,500. The demographic is mixed, with a slightly higher proportion of younger patients. The surgery use EMIS web, but are happy to train someone up on the ITsystem if required. The ethos at the Practice is really supportive, theyve got a great network within the practice and across the community. The team help each other on the daily, both professional and personally - theyre really close-knit team who are wellestablished at the Practice, with most the team being there for 10+ years. The low staff turnover demonstrates the practices success as does their Good CQC report.
