Job Description

Junior IT Support EngineerFull time, PermanentSalary: Up to £25,000 per annum + annual company bonus + pension scheme + onsite parkingWorking: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per weekLocation: Winnersh Triangle, Berkshire (RG41)Do you have an analytical mindDo you have excellent technical, communication and interpersonal skillsAre you a strong team player and possess passion and confidenceIf so, we are interested in speaking with you about joining our IT team as a Junior IT Support Engineer at REL Field Marketing.You will be responsible for:

  • Install, maintain and support PC’s, laptops, phones, tablets and other IT peripherals
  • Maintain physical IT assets and the database
  • Support the distribution and return of IT equipment
  • Work helpdesk issues. Specific responsibility for 1st line queue, escalate & resolve issues within agreed SLAs
  • Will also work with 2nd and 3rd Line to carry out line troubleshooting and Projects
  • Update the helpdesk system ensuring all parties are informed on update/resolution or escalation of issue
  • Manage and assist with company/office moves, packing and unpacking computer equipment as required
  • Primary time shift will be 9 to 5 but will be required to work 8 to 4 and 10 to 6 when covering vacation/absence
  • Resolve qualified issues to successful resolution
  • You will have:
  • Customer service skills, able to create and maintain relationships with users
  • Good knowledge of PC/Laptops/ and Phones and Tablets (Apple/Android)
  • Experience of automation systems for deploying PC/Laptops/tablets.
  • Basic knowledge LAN/WAN networking (TCP/IP), email gateways
  • PC/Laptop build & configuration including experience of Windows 7/10
  • Use of Microsoft Office 365
  • General Task Management and Administration
