Vehicle Approval Engineer - Commercial Vehicles - Chesterfield - DerbyshireBrooklyn Recruitment currently have a role available for a Vehicle Approval Engineer to be office based in the Chesterfield area of Derbyshire. You would also be expected to spend a day or two with an overnight stay at their other site in Hampshire around once a month.This Vehicle Approval Engineer’s role is very much a paperwork based role but requires someone who is technically minded to understand the regulations. You will be maintaining special vehicle approvals as rules and regulations change, as well as applying for new approvals. You will also be ensuring that all vehicles adapted are the same as the initial master vehicle in terms of parts etc. The company are willing to train the right candidate as they understand this is a very niche role.To be suitable for this role of Vehicle Approval Engineer you should have worked in a manufacturing environment and have a good technical understanding, you should also be experienced in report writing.
