Job Description

The Supply Chain Category Planner role based in Windsor is with an industry leading, international Supply Chain business on a permanent full time basis (35 hours per week) based in Windsor with easy transport links.Job OfferThe successful candidate will have the chance to travel for business internationally (they dont have to but get offered the chance each year).   • Manage the replenishment of on-board material by category to ensure optimal availability with minimal stock value and cover.
  • Plan the availability and capacity requirements out to an horizon of up to 16 weeks (depending on category)
  • Maintain stocks are balanced according to demand across the network (approx. 4 DCs across Europe and 24 site locations) on a day one for day 3 order cycle.
  • Create and communicate a demand plan for named suppliers. (in excess of 30 suppliers).
  • Plan demand and supply for New Product Introductions and catalogue changes, including phasing out delisted items.
  • Forge sound working relationships with suppliers offering a demand plan to a stated horizon.
  • Develop an improving collaborative demand forecast at SKU location level.
  • Attend weekly and monthly meeting cycles with suppliers and internal cross functional teams.
  • Work to availability targets in excess of 97.5% Ensure all stakeholders understand all stock risks (Stockouts and Low stocks) out to 3 weeks.
  • Manage and maintain optimal availability of seasonal intensification and promotional activities.
  • Manage a substitution process.
The successful candidate will have the following skill set:
  • Previous experience within FMCG and/or Food and beverages.
  • Intermediate to advanced abilities using Microsoft Excel (to include pivot tables and Vlookups as a minimum).
  • Previous or current experience of MRP/ERP systems.
  • Previous or current experience from a Supply Chain/Manufacturing background.
  • Strong administration and communication skills.
  • Additional European languages may be a benefit.
