Job Description

Scope:Highly specialist senior leadership position, offering the rare opportunity of working with some of the most innovative radiology technology in the UK. As Head of Department you will be responsible for the Diagnostic Imaging & Theranostics service our client offer across the UK. Including driving performance of the team, patient access, compliance and efficiency, with the overall aim of providing each patient with a truly first-class experience.Responsibilities:

  • Drive the Theranostics, Imaging and Radiopharmacy business performance to improve quality, patient access, drive efficiency and achieve an optimal patient experience
  • Ensure practice and processes within Theranostics, Diagnostic Imaging and Radiopharmacy services are compliant with, and meet all relevant and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations team to optimise the operational model ensuring it meets the needs of patients, referrers, and internal stakeholders
  • To continually update, develop, present, and implement a strategy for imaging and Theranostics that meets the needs of the UK business and is aligned with UK strategy and key priorities
  • About You:
  • Experience and a proved track record in leading high performing clinical service delivery teams
  • Proven project management skills
  • Working knowledge of procurement, supplier management and contract negotiation
  • Understanding of P & L and experience in developing a successful business case
  • Detailed knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements in relation to Nuclear Medicine and Imaging
  • Detailed working knowledge of Radiopharmacy functions and regulations
  • Microsoft Office capability - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proven budget management and commercial awareness
  • Negotiating and dispute resolution skills
  • Degree or DCR educated
  • Diagnostic Radiography or Nuclear Medicine Qualification
