Job Description

Care Worker – Windsor, Ascot, Datchet, Maidenhead and the surrounding areas.Salary: Up to £11.25 ph. + Very generous mileage allowance + paid travelling timeThe Company:Based in Windsor, Berkshire, my client specialise in providing exceptional quality home care services and assistance to people in their own homes in Windsor, Ascot, Datchet, Maidenhead and the surrounding areas.My client is registered and regulated by the Care Quality Commission with a "Good" rating, and are a local independently-owned company.The Role:

  • 40 Hours per week
  • Weekdays, evenings and some weekends
  • Personal Care
  • Showering / Bathing
  • Dressing and grooming
  • Toileting
  • Medication administration
  • Companionship
  • Use of aids and equipment
  • Help at mealtimes
  • Shopping
  • Planning and preparing meals
  • Domestic tasks
  • Trips out, appointments and social activities
  • Meaningful activity
  • To promote client’s rights, choice, independence, individuality, privacy and dignity.
  • To treat clients with respect and keep them safe.
  • Role Responsibilities:
  • Visiting homes around the Windsor, Ascot, Datchet, Maidenhead and the surrounding areas.
  • To provide exceptional quality care to clients as outlined in the Care Plan
  • To monitor and report changes in client’s condition
  • To keep clear and accurate records in client’s homes, reporting changes immediately
  • To communicate effectively with clients, their families and colleagues
  • To participate in training and supervision sessions and attend team meetings
  • To undertake any other tasks as directed by your Manager
  • Essential Skills & Requirements:
  • You will preferably have 2+ years’ experience gained in a caring environment. We will consider applications from people with 1 years of experience in care.
  • Experience of people living with dementia is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills with an empathetic and caring attitude with the ability to maintain client confidentiality.
  • Full UK driving licence, full access to own car and Business Insurance.
