Job Description

Our client is seeking a Project Manager with 3+ years’ experience of bespoke software delivery, ideally within the medical industry for a Technology company or a Contract Research Organisation (CRO). You will manage the delivery of key client projects with the goal of executing every project to a high quality, on time, within budget and within scope.1 Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ project management experience of delivering customer-configured solutions to medical related companies and CROs. You will have managed, through excellent organization and clear communication, both internal and external partners to deliver to fixed timelines successful outcomes meeting the customers expectations. This combined set of experience will ideally have been gained within companies that provide technology solutions to the medical industry; these could be EDC providers, ePRO/eCOA solution providers, IVRS or other medical technology solution providers. Responsibilities· Act as the primary interface with the customer interacting in an accurate and timely manner· Lead the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility· Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors in the execution of projects· Manage a detailed project plan to monitor and track project progress· Review the quality of all customer facing deliverables· Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget· Manage changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs Ensure resource availability and allocation· Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques and use this data to drive process improvement. · Track and manage project issues · Track and manage project risks, and implement mitigations to enable successful delivery· Report and escalate risks and issues to management as needed· Create and maintain appropriate project documentation· Understand the design process and tools and be able to act as a backup if required. · Support customer governance2 Requirements· Educated to degree level· Proven track record in project management execution· Experience of project delivery for technology solutions · Understanding of drug development and post-marketing life cycle· Excellent client-facing and internal relationship management skills· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Strong organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills· A formal project management qualification such as PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plusInitially working from home during lock down and then you will gradually start working in the office Required skills
