Job Description

Fantastic Opportunity for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

  • A rare opportunity has opened to join an award winning nursery in Wilmslow. We are currently seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join their expanding friendly and motivated team.
  • The nursery is proud to embrace aspects of Hygge, Curiosity & Reggio Emilia approaches. They also offer our children regular Forest School activities at our purpose-built setting with mindfulness classes and yoga.
  • They have a strong focus on Cultural Capital, with regular trips into our community. Accordingly, the Nursery is well known locally and well supported - with a current waiting list.
  • For the right applicant you will hold a full and relevant qualification in Early Years at Level 3 or above, have experience of working in a busy nursery setting. A knowledge of our approaches and the new EYFS framework is seen as advantageous at interview.
Essential for all applicants:
  • Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding Policies and Procedures and Government guidance including KCSiE
Experience of providing quality provision for babies and young children Key Person responsibilities and duty of care responsibilities Ability to demonstrate and apply a strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum An excellent knowledge of child development to support individual childrens learning journeys enabling all children in your care to make steady progress, achieving the best possible outcomes, and a love for life long learning.
