We work to ensure their voices are heard, and campaign to bring lasting change to theirlives.About the Role:By working as part of a team to create an environment in which childrens individual needs are met and high standards of care are provided, which meet the requirements set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage.HMP Styal Mother and Baby Unit is a 9 bed unit that offers holisticsupportfor mothers and their babies who are oftenvulnerableand may have complexemotionaland health needs. We work closely with a range ofprofessionalsand as part of a team to offerthe best positive outcomes for the mothers on the unit and this is a vital part of our work.Youll be working in our HMP New Styal Baby Unit project, offering Ofsted registered nursery provision, under a key worker system. You will provide holisticsupportto the mothers and babies on the unit including thedeliveryof avarietyof parenting programmes,and will provide the prison with monthly reports, keepcomprehensiverunning records and detailed information/reports forprofessionalmeetings and as part of socialcareassessments.The differenceYoull significantly improve young peoples lives:

As an Early Years Worker, youll be:Youll need:
  • Experience dealing withmulti-agencies.
  • Strong written and oralcommunicationskills.
  • Theabilityto build good rapport with people in the team and thevulnerablemothers.
  • Must have worked withvulnerablepeople (children or adults).
  • Emotionalresilience.
  • Theabilityto build and developrelationshipsbothprofessionallywith colleagues and with the mums in the unit.
  • Must have Level 3 Early Years qualification.
