Job Description

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Content Developer to join our Learning and Development Team. The Learning and Development team design and author online training materials using a variety of media to support our colleagues in a varietyof job roles.This is a remote/home based role or alternatively based in our Wilmslow Head Office.As the Digital Content Developer, you will work alongside our subject matter experts, to manage, design, develop and launch online learning programmes that are bright, interactive and stimulating. You will also monitor and maintain existing courses, contributingto the fresh and modern appearance of our bespoke Learning Management SystemAs the Digital Content Developer, you will:

  • To design and produce new eLearning interventions from storyboarded content, with support from an L&D lead and with internal and external subject matter experts
  • To evaluate digital learning interventions to support continuous improvement of the learning offering
  • To review and edit text, visual and interactive content in new and existing course modules and programmes
  • To design, develop and deploy digital learning materials and other key solutions as part of a blended learning approach to meet requirements
  • To work with the wider L&D team to integrate other digital learning mediums, such as PageTiger and GoToWebinar, into the LMS to further improve our distance learning provision
  • To support the Digital Learning Manager to coordinate with L&D stakeholders and wider functional or departmental leads to identify, analyse and deliver against business-critical objectives
  • To support the development of systems and content to enable the wider implementation of the learning and development framework and strategy
Selection Criteria
  • Familiar with SCORM, online learning, learning technology, instructional, graphic, and/or web design or development skills.
  • Experience of content authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 2, Adapt and Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Acrobat and Adapt.
  • Good knowledge of learning principles and course design techniques and an ability to review and edit technical content, using eLearning best practices, to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communications skills with experience in working with key stakeholders to achieve desired results.
  • Experience of project management and coordinating internal activities to meet delivery expectations of key stakeholders.
  • Ability to be work with in a small dynamic team and willing to support different functions through flexible approach to project-based work.
  • The role is suitable for those with an education or graphical design qualification, experience in graphic design, content development, online or workplace training, or continuing professional development in the health care sector.
