Job Description

Customer Retention ExecutiveLocation: MorleySalary: £20,000 to £25,000 (DOE) with bonus/profit shareWe are working with an established utilities business, situated within West Yorkshire. They cater to individuals throughout the UK and whose mission is simply to help homeowners cut costs on their energy bills.They offer a variety of renewable energy solutions and a cost-effective service which delivers maximum efficiency. They are now looking for a Customer Retention Executive to join the team and ensure that the business are meeting and exceeding the expectations of all their clients.It is a hybrid role that also involves elements of recruitment to grow the team further and any candidates with this background and an interest in HR would be of interest.This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who enjoys variety in a role and is looking for a company with room to progress.This person will thrive on retaining existing business through negotiation/reselling opportunities and be proactive in constantly reviewing and implementing best practice strategies and techniques to give the business the best possible outcomes.The candidate must be extremely hard working and driven. A passion for building relationships with customers, negotiation and problem solving will be key to this role along with delivering high levels of customer service.Key responsibilities:

  • Being the first point of contact for any customer queries
  • Offer solutions, guidance and support to customers who are wanting to leave/withdraw their order
  • Revisiting any cancelled appointments / dormant customers to reignite their interest
  • Passing on any additional sales enquiries to the Sales team.
  • Raising foreseeable issues with your line manager
  • Objection handling and demonstrating market expertise
  • Resourcing for suitable candidates to join the fast-growing sales team
  • Management of applications and shortlisting high calibre candidates for the director.
  • Key skills required:
  • Flexibility, you will need to be available if a customer has a query outside of normal working hours.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. We want to meet our customer’s expectations every time.
  • Fact-finding and influential skills. You must be able to talk through the customer’s issue and provide a solution.
  • Previous Customer Retention experience, ideally in a B2C environment.
  • Candidates with previous recruitment / resourcing experience will be looked upon favourably.
