Clinical PsychologistAurora Hanley / Summerfields / CedarsThe Aurora Group is an innovative provider of education and care for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities with an ambitious growth planWeare looking for an enthusiasticClinical Psychologistto work as part of a therapy across three of our schools. Aurora Hanley, Cedars and Summerfields Schools provide flexible day placements for students aged 5 to 19 years with communicationand associated difficulties or specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia. Some may be on the autistic spectrum or have anxieties and difficulties that create barriers to learning.This is an exciting new post that has been created to develop and embedour clinical offer to young people. Our multifaceted and therapeutic approach aims to address the whole person, taking into consideration clinical biological, physiological and psychological aspects. The post holder will work collaboratively with school staffto deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our young people. You will be providing a systematic high quality psychology service within our schools, working with others to promote the wellbeing and best interests of our young people. This willendorse the effectiveness of our educational offer to achieve our aim of providing the highest quality service to our young people and ensuring a provision in line with best practice guidelines and internal policies and procedures. The post will involve undertakingClinical Psychology/Psychotherapy duties whilst adhering to professional and regulatory guidelines, you will carry out assessments, design individualised plans and strategies. As well as implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions; report writingand multi-professional reviews you will provide advice, information, and training to staff, as well as parents, commissioners, and other agencies. Our schools maintain a nurturing environment where our young people can achieve their full potential. We putour young people at the forefront of everything we do, ensuring that young people are heard, respected, and involved in decisions that affect them wherever possible.
