Senior Test Analyst: Derbyshire & WFHBroster Buchanan has partnered with a well-respected organisation that is currently going through a large IT transformation programme. As part of this transformation, my client is looking for a Senior Test AnalystsThe Senior Test Analyst will design, develop, review and execute a series of tests and evaluations that identify any potential issues with the product before its general release. The Senior Test Analyst will act as a source of expertise in testing, have a thoroughunderstanding of its importance and will advise and mentor other team members.The Quality Assurance team plays a critical role in ensuring that products and services meet, and exceed our members, Consultants, and head office teams expectations of quality. Delivering exceptional service and quality is a core to the organisations values.As Senior Test Analyst you will:* Actively takes part in refining the product backlog, with other members of the Technology department, to define more detailed requirements and clarify what testing will need to take place. * Analyse requirements, prepare, and maintain query lists pertaining to the services. * Produce appropriate tests to cover the requirements ensuring communication and collaboration happens at every stage with the Product Owners and Developers.* Attend and input into sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, demos and daily stand-ups to maintain an excellent understanding of what work is planned, what work has been done and what work remains.* Works with the wider Technology team to identify quality risks as early in the product development process as possible.* Facilitate thought shower sessions with stakeholders to help identify potential risks, issues or dependencies relating to new or amended services.* Define tests that, once successfully executed, reduce the level of quality risk to an acceptable level.* Complete exploratory test sessions against the agreed test objectives* All bugs found during testing are reported and managed in JIRA or DevOps and assigned the appropriate severity and priority.* Produce appropriate tests to cover the retesting of the bug fix that has been made.Location: Derbyshir3 // WFH 3 days a weekSalary: £30,000 - £38,000 + package
