Job Description

Health & Safety / CDM Advisor – Housing / Construction£33,000 - £40,000 + BenefitsMy client is one of the leading Social Housing providers in the Midlands, employing over 200 people and boasting a diverse property portfolio in excess of 6000. They are currently looking to recruit a Health & Safety / CDM Advisor to join their team.The role of Health & Safety / CDM Advisor will predominantly see you working on the property portfolio, carrying out Health & Safety / CDM Advisor duties around planning maintenance, refurbishment and fit-out, ensuring that all contractors are working in a safe and compliant way. In addition, they build around 200 new houses a year, so you will be involved in that process from the Design phase onwards. In addition, you will be involved in delivering training and guidance to employees, and assisting in the maintenance of existing Management Systems.To be considered for the role of Health & Safety / CDM Advisor, you will need to have the following skills and experience:• NEBOSH Construction qualification (or Diploma level qualification)• Membership of IOSH• Construction / Property experience (refurb, fit out, new build)• Full driving license and your own vehicle (all business mileage paid)• Excellent communication skills with an ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders• Keen to further yourself professionally (CPD)• Working knowledge of CDM 2015 regulationsIn return, my client offers a basic salary of between £33-40k for the Health & Safety / CDM Advisor role, depending on experience, along with all business mileage paid at HMRC rate (45p per mile).
