Job Description

Role Introduction To deliver data migration consultancy services to Advanced clients migrating their data from there incumbent legacy PMCS or DMS system to one of Advanced Legal Practice & Case Management Systems (ALB & P4W) or Netdocuments. What you will do

  • Analysis of data from Legal Practice management systems
  • Development of programs and scripts to assist in the transformation of data between Legal Practice Management systems ensuring responsibility for the accuracy of data that is output
  • Working to agreed timescales and meeting all data conversion deliverable timelines, working closely with the Professional Services, Project Management, Training, Support and Development teams
  • Working with other team members to ensure all data migrations maintain high levels of data consistency and integrity
  • Working with as a team to establish where existing data migration procedures can be refined & improved, ensuring the most efficient use of time and resources
What you will have
  • A proven track record and experience in successful data migrations, ideally within the legal software / technology sector
  • Demonstrate a clear capability to work on data migration and transformation applications using a variety of programming languages, databases, data manipulation tools and data conversion principles
  • Knowledge of relational databases and experience of Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience of working with financial data
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
