Job Description

WME is a small but dynamic organisation working at the heart of local government providing a broad range of people support services across the employee journey from entry to exit and organisational development. We have a new and exciting Systems Officer role to join our Corporate and Business services team, which is the engine room of WME, managing the interface between our clients and the wider WME team.We are based in a modern office space in Willenhall, where we regularly come together as functional and project teams to collaborate, and of course catch up. However, we do all also work from home and our clients sites across the region - generally werein the office one or two days a week.The roleIn this new role you will be responsible for the maintenance of systems administration and software for WME ensuring the services are performing to a high standard. This role will also be responsible for liaising with two of our external ICT providers to ensure our ICT needs are being met.You will be the lead administrator for our CRM working alongside the Business & Corporate Services Manager to develop and maintain the system. This will involve liaising with our provider as well as working alongside a working group to resolveany issues. This is an exciting time for our CRM as we are in the development stage of our reporting functionality and this role will be integral to the testing phase of the project.Youll need to be flexible as you will be supporting all teams within our organisation by adopting a matrix working approach, in particular working with the Resourcing Team and supporting them with service integrations between WME internalsystems, such as Madgex who provide the platform for the jobs board - WMJobs and Talentlink our Applicant Tracking System, and those of our clients. These systems are underpinned by three service centres, which you will need to review and to understand howthey can be developed to improve service delivery.The ideal candidates for these roles will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Experience of using a variety of systems with in-depth knowledge to develop systems to their full potential
  • Experience of delivering service improvement and development
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work to a very high level of accuracy and unsupervised in response to diverse demands
  • Enjoy working with systems and problem solving.
  • Experience in the full range of full range of standard Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience of designing and delivering microsites would be advantageous for this role
  • Planning and Organisation skills - are key to this role as you will at times be working on mini projects with a variety of teams across the organisation
