Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and detail-oriented individual to join our HR team as a Service Delivery Manager. This is a new role and is offered on a permanent full-time basis working 37 hours per week - were also happy to accept applications from people who wish to work part time.The RoleReporting to the Director, HR, Membership & Corporate Services, this is a key role within the HR team responsible for managing the day-to-day commercial consultancy service and to be the lead client interface with our HR service leads, and with our talent bank of Associate consultants.In this role you will take requests for work from clients, identifying suitable resource (in-house or through our Associates), agree appropriate commercial fees and charges and liaise between the client and consultant on the delivery of the solution, includingour bespoke mediation services. You will act as the key contact for our Associates including their onboarding, managing queries, supporting with assignment paperwork and co-ordinating Associate networking events.Youll also write proposals and prepare bids for work, manage the Customer Relationship Management system for the HR service team, liaise with our finance team on invoicing and IR35 implications and produce regular statistical and key performance indicatorreports.Youll undertake market analysis to enable WME to identify potential opportunities and client needs to enable us to shape our future services. Client specific research will also form part of the role which will include salary benchmarking, job descriptionand structure searches and best practice research.The HR team, of which youll be part of delivers:

  • Job evaluation and pay & grading
  • Investigation and disciplinary / grievance and casework support
  • Organisational restructuring, service & job design
  • HR network meetings
About youWe are looking for someone who has experience of providing a customer facing service to the highest of standards and can demonstrate excellent consultation skills to involve stakeholders, internal and external, in exploring HR issues and identifying possible approaches and solutions.Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be detail focused and able to flex and adapt to accommodate conflicting priorities.Youll have experience in conducting research and be confident creating reports and managing and manipulating data with an intermediate level of Microsoft Excel skills.Youll also be proactive and comfortable managing your own workload whilst also contributing to projects across WME.Previous experience in HR and / or project management would be advantageous but its not essential for the role - its more important that youre a self-starter with strong organisational skills who is able to deliver results.We are waiting to hear from you and would love you join us at West Midlands Employers.Please note, although were very flexible you will be required to come into our Willenhall Office one or two days a week.
