Job Description

Job title - Sales Administrator Location- WillenhallSalary- £22,000Mon-Fri 9am-5pmThe role:

  • Taking orders by telephone, email (ASM) & the web
  • Entering orders onto Microsoft Navision
  • Emailing order acknowledgements & requesting customer confirmation where required
  • Tracking process from order to delivery to ensure that all is happening with estimated time frames and if required, if necessary, informing the client each step of the way
  • Answering the telephone & redirecting calls
  • Meeting customer expectations by possessing a level of product and service knowledge & the ability to source information to advise customers and answer queries. *
  • Be able to deal with difficult customers and situations in a professional and effective manner
  • Support and liaise with external sales staff, responding quickly and fully to their requests
  • Conduct telephone conversations professionally, efficiently, and in a pleasant and helpful manor.
  • Ensure all orders are input and despatched within the by the 4pm deadline.
  • Be responsible for orders input by themselves and maintain ownership of the order until accepted delivery by the customer
  • Be responsible for queries received from customers, reps or management and maintain ownership of the query until a satisfactory conclusion is reached within the targeted time
  • Be responsible for returned orders received and input by themselves and maintain ownership of the order until a satisfactory conclusion is reached within the targeted time
  • Be responsible for liaising with other departments when dealing with an order or query in a professional and pleasant manner
  • Effectively record and maintain customer records making sure that addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses and contact details are correct and up to date
  • Understand correct procedures and processes when dealing with customer queries/problems
  • Be proactive in suggesting new processes which could enhance the customer experience
  • Possess a level of decision making that allows for the best customer experience
  • Liaise with procurement and finance to aid decision making where necessary
