Job Description

Business to Business Marketing Manager March 2022The Business-to-Business Marketing Manager will lead all marketing for our HR Group of companies including Safety Services Direct and Guardian Support.We are looking for a driven and dynamic business to business Marketing Manager who is comfortable leading the marketing planning process and delivering it in all channels. This person will manage all marketing channels including the SSD e.commerce platform,websites content management, social media, email and social content and execution, performance marketing as well as analysis of performance.The role would suite someone who has worked in a business-to-business environment and thrives on seeing the impact that B2B campaigns can have on growth and has managed all aspects of the marketing mix.The role is supported by a specialist agency and some inhouse marketing.The role Reporting to Directors of the business Unit , this is an exciting opportunity to lead the marketing for the Bushell Investment Group HR companies.The purpose of the role is to grow ecommerce sales and encourage new clients and sales and maintain renewals for SSD and Guardian Support consultancy businesses providing analysis and insight to the commercial teams regarding the most profitable campaignsand initiatives.This role would suite someone who likes to be in control of the strategy and also the day-to-day planning and delivery process. This person will enjoy using national events and opportunities to create tactical and memorable information campaigns which raisethe profile of the business products and services.Responsibilities o Marketing planning, campaign and promotions calendar development and execution

  • Work with the Managing Directors to agree the annual marketing strategy, plan and budget
  • Lead and development the campaigns calendar including Social and email and paid marketing campaigns to meet the budget, flexing as may be required in the year
  • Grow engagement and sales of all brands within the group.
  • Create and deliver the marketing of new SSD/Guardian Support training courses, products and services
  • Measure and report on the impact of the marketing activities and report monthly on channel performance using various analytics tools
o E.commerce
  • Manage the SSD ecommerce platform making suggestions for UX and website changes to meet trading needs
  • Responsible for the SSD e. commerce targets and KPI management
o Websites
  • Managing the external web development teams to deliver UX enhancement and optimise the performance of the websites
  • Be the main point of contact for identified web errors and liaise with support teams to resolve the issues
  • Deliver engaging content that also supports SEO best practice
  • Experience with Wordpress CMS systems
  • Website on page optimisation/SEO
o Design
  • Create design briefs to deliver the marketing plan
  • Brief the inhouse design team and coordinate production
o Digital Marketing
  • Work with the digital agency to deliver paid marketing campaigns where applicable monitoring performance and reporting on impact, flexing the campaigns as may be required
o Other
  • Analyse competitor activity to ensure commercial competitiveness
Skills and experience We are seeking a motivated individual to help grow and retain clients and achieve online targets. The successful B2B Marketing Manager will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • At least 5 years in a B2B marketing role comfortable leading the marketing planning process, and delivering all aspects of the marketing mix
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding and use of online e.commerce platforms and used E. Commerce software such as Woo Commerce
  • Experience using CMS on website platforms such as Wordpress
  • Experience creating and delivering B2B social media
  • Experience delivering and measuring email programme and delivery software
  • A wordsmith able to create compelling B2B copy
  • Experience using Google Analytics to evaluate and report on performance in each channel and use of other analytics software
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel
  • Good commercial acumen and understanding of KPIs
  • Data driven and using data to influence commercial and marketing decisions.
  • An effective team player, with a flexible approach and good organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable communicating with the senior leadership team.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with external partners, suppliers and agencies.
