Job Description

Maintenance Engineer We are recruiting for Maintenance Engineer in the Wednesfield Wolverhampton area for a highly reputable client.As a Maintenance Engineer you will need to have:

  • Welder Qualification - BS EN ISO 9606-1:2017.
  • Butt welds - flat, horizontal, vertical up and down and overhead
  • Fillet weld - Flat, vertical up and down and horizontal overhead
  • We would be looking for a engineer with good electrical and mechanical experience with a 18th edition electrical qualification (17th edition would be considered
  • experience on working with overhead cranes, on site we cover a multitude of tasks from pipework, pneumatics, hydraulics we work to a set PPM programme and covering break downs
  • Able to understand electrical drawings
  • able to work as a team and on their own at times
  • Good health and safety
  • Welding certs for coded welding fillet,butt vertical,horizontal and overhead
  • Overhead crane repair experience preferred
  • Cherry picker and scissor lift
  • Cover a call out rota
  • Work weekends when required
    • The position is mainly the fabrication of lifting jigs along with some remedial repair work along with working at height welding occasionally. We require someone with excellent welding/ fabrication skills and able to follow technical drawings, be able to work alone and with others. Health and safety is at the forefront of everything we do.Details Maintenance Engineer :
  • Salary: £30k+ for the right candidate.
  • Overtime paid on weekends and a call out fee.
  • Working hours of Maintenance Engineer : 07:30am to 16:00pm Monday to Friday
  • Location: Wednesfield Wolverhampton
  • Duration: Temporary to Permanent for successful candidates.
