Are you a Management Accountant, Finance Manager or Financial Controller within a manufacturing business who holds a CIMA/ACA qualification (or is qualified by experience) seeking a role where you hit the ground running within an established business*You will definitely need to have a background in financial reporting for a manufacturing business to be considered for the role*Imagine a company in theBlackCountry that has gone from being a small family business quite old fashioned in its approach to being acquired by a big global player, but they are still operating their finance function the "old way"This really is a company where the whole group are working towards united goals and a genuinely great place to work.Sales and Business development is where the initial investment has been, and now the MD is looking for a Finance partner, could that be youReporting into the Managing Director you will have full P&L responsibility for the site, including- Monthly management account, forecasting and weekly cashflowas well asyear-end responsibility to report into the board and group head office in mainland Europe.You are a key member of the senior leadership team in the UK, your reporting line is the MD however you have a dotted line into the group CFO.The UK leadership team are great, they have lots of ideas of where they want to take this and what they want to do but they need your "know how" to make it happen.Managing a team of 3 you will be a strong leader andhave a great mindset to change management.You will be responsible for: The production of Monthly management accounts, including commentary, analysis, and full balance sheet reconciliations. Taking the lead on annual statutory audits Production of annual budgets and forecasts in accordance with group timetable. VAT returns and other governmental requirements. Cash Management, including cash book postings, cash collection & weekly cash flow forecasts. Margin and sales analysis.
