Job Description

Job title: Projects Contract ManagerLocation: Willenhall / Leicester (will require travel between sites uk)Salary: Competitive DOEJOB DESCRIPTIONTo take responsibility for the successful delivery of door/window supply and install projects, ensuring complete customer satisfaction and maximising profitability and productivity for the client.PRINICPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES- Take responsibility for door/window supply and install projects within the company, Specifically in relation to customer expectation, cost control and project delivery- Effectively communicate with customers, factories, supply chain and site resources throughout all stages of the order process in a timely and professional manner.- Single point of contact for customer- Measure and report on the clients performance against customer expectation or agreed plan- Identify resource skill / levels required and manage site teams- Assist with project planning including payment applications, variations and changes- Product sign off in line with client systems and contact close out- Communicate contract related issues to all stakeholders- Responsible for site Health and Safety / Environmental- Ensure customer satisfaction for each projectMAIN DUTIES- Conduct Contract Review after order receipt to determine scope of works, develop action plan and communicate required involvement of departments for successful delivery of each project.- Determine contractual obligations under contract to ensure risk-free project delivery.- Creation and allocation of cost budgets for operational processes and for direct expenditure- Develop and manage project plan including supply of materials, equipment and site labour resources.- Identify sub-contract labour requirements, agree scope of activity and performance manage activity.- Effectively manage relationship with all project stakeholders, to include regular site meetings.- Effective & timely communication with customer to advise company performance against agreed plan. Stages of communication typically include: production / delivery schedule, installation start & end dates and phasing of works, identify delays to schedule.- Develop project Health and Safety / Environmental Plans, to include project Risk Assessments and Method Statements covering all aspects of work.- Manage project quality processes / procedures. This will include maintaining customers quality database / records covering the companies scope.- Notification of delays outside of company control to the main contractor- Ensure effective response to customer contractual correspondence to mitigate opportunity for claim/counter claim but ensuring opportunity for future business is not jeopardised- Conduct regular project reviews internally and action as required- Regular review of costs vs budget with Senior Leadership Team/Financial Controller highlighting concerns and proposing solutions for corrective action- Contribute to the development of the short, medium and long term strategies for the company and provide input to the business planning process.- Provide all relevant documentation required by the contractor as part of the installation process in a timely fashion. Fire testing certification, FIRAS Documents.- To proactively maintain accurate ISO 9001 records i.e. customer complaints/feedback.- Ensure compliance throughout projects with all relevant specifications, standards and safety regulations.- Develop and implement continuous improvement plans and support "lessons learned" sessions..........and any other duties required to assist in supporting the achievement of Company objectivesESSENTIAL · HNC / HND in construction or engineering related disciplineorSuitable vocational qualifications in Construction / Project Management· 5 Years construction or project management experience in construction projects ranging in value between £1m-£5m· Experience in joinery / door / window sub-contract packages· Proven ability to lead multi-disciplined site teams· Experience of JCT / NEC sub-contractsDESIRABLE· CSCS Card Holder - Construction Manager· CITB Site Supervisor· Recognised H&S Qualification such as IOSH / NEBOSH· UK Government / Counter Terror security clearance· Robust skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint· Experience in joinery / door / window sub-contract packages· Installation of doors / windows / FF&E within pre-cast concrete structure· Delivering secure projects such in custodial / defence sector· Experience of MS Project / 4 Projects etcDemand for this role will undoubtedly be high and interviews will be arranged very soon.
