Multi Skilled TradesmanSalary starting on £15.00 per hour and a pay review after 3 monthsMonday-Friday 7:00am- 4:40pmPermanentA new and exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a building services company who have been operating for over 20 years and employ over 30 members of staff and 20 self-employed tradesman and women. They offer a wide range of services which can cover any type of property damage, and due to expansion and taking on more work we are looking for a skilled Trademan to join their team.The successful candidate will be joining an experienced team dealing with all areas of building work including, carpentry, plumbing and painting. They provide a high level of customer service and are the link between the claimant and insurance company to make the process as smooth as possible.The office is based in Birmingham with a lot of work being local but this role will also include travelling up and down the country to assigned jobs.You will be provided with a company van and fuel card on your first day as well as given accommodation and a food allowance when working away.Key Duties

Knowing the building process so the work is done in the correct order

Applying materials such as stains, lacquer and varnish

Removing damaged wallpaper and paint

Completing jobs to a high standard

What we are looking for;

Skills in Carpentry, Painting, Tiling, Decorating and general handyman work

3 or more years’ experience in the building trade

Must take pride in their work

Must have their own hand tools whilst all specialist tools are supplied

A full UK driving licence
