Job Description

Our client is actively recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Trimmer for an established auto trim bespoke workshop.The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things automotive.Responsibilities

  • Fitting of automotive replacement seat covers, door cards, roof linings, dashboards, steering wheels and all other parts.
    • Skills & Experience
  • Experience of working with air, hand and power tools is essential
  • Experience of fitting handmade leather seat covers is essential
  • Experience of car electronics is desirable
  • Experience of operating industrial sewing machines is an advantage
  • Experience of hand stitching is an advantage
  • Experience of using computerised workflow systems is an advantage
    • Working as a part of a small team, applicants must be willing to work closely with the team and work under pressure including tight deadlines. Candidate must have excellent organisational skills and be able to plan their workload in advance.Our clients speciality is bespoke leather interiors for Land Rover Defenders. Other projects cover a broad range of modern, classic and vintage vehicles and the applicant must be diligent and conscientious with a good eye for quality and attention to detail.A degree of manual labour is also involved in this position, which involves lifting, scraping, and working in closed and confined spaces inside a vehicle.
