Job Description

Job Description We are currently looking for an experienced weekend transport planner for for one of the U.Ks leading logistics companies.Hours: 4 on 4 off 7am - 7pmDuties:

  • Providing effective and efficient planning and administration to the transport department.
  • Input and retrieval of data from the Transport Management System.
  • Responsible for issuing effective allocation of work/routes.
  • Escalating issues that could affect customers SLAs.
  • Controlling DVSA requirements.
  • Ensuring legal compliance for the department.
  • Support management with co-ordination of activity for week ahead.
  • Reports for previous week.
    • The ideal candidate would have previous experience in a transport role, knowledge of legislation and Tachograph usage/management. Experienced in all Microsoft office software, dealing with customers in a professional manner and the ability to work well as part of a team as well as alone.This is a temp-to-perm position with flexibility in your working week an advantage.We are looking for the ideal candidate to attend a face-to-face interview this week with a view of starting ASAP.Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, ContractSalary: £14.00-£16.00 per hourJob Types: Full-time, Temporary, ContractSalary: £14.00-£16.00 per hour Required skills
