Job Description

Job; Technology Manager - WiganThis role is with a small (about 20 people) yet established (20+ years, £5m T/O) family run business.They are looking for a Technology Manager to join their fast-growing & ambitious company. Based out of their central-Wigan building (with free parking) they are looking for someone to:

Oversee & keep everyones computers doing what they should be doing.
Analyse & understand how their current (bespoke) system works.
Maintain their current systems and develop new ones as required by the business.
Build & manage a new team of in-house technologists.

Technologies they use include:

Excel VBA, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, IIS, Apache, VOIP, Routers and firewalls, Barcode scanners, Hosted PBX, Raspberry PI (powered kiosks) - so experience in any of these is highly desirable.

£s; fully DoE approx. £40k + benefits
Location; central Wigan, (an easy walk from either Wigan train stations)
