Team LeaderJob Title:Team LeaderLocation:WiganPay rate:£26644.80 to £27190.80Job Type:Full-time, Permanent,42 hoursShift and schedule:Weekend availabilityPriority Recruitmentare excited to present this brand-new opportunity for aTeam Leaderin Wigan.This is an excellent opportunity to join a residential home for children and young people. The residents live with learning disabilities, epilepsy, and/or autism and may display some associated behaviours.We are searching forTeam Leaders who share our belief that disability is not a barrier, and it doesn’t have to stop our residents from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences. Previous experience in care isessential.Company and Role:

  • Residential home for Children & Young People.
  • The conditions the residents live with include a range of learning disabilities, epilepsy, and autism.
  • Many of the residents are non-verbal or have limited communication and will communicate through different methods, including picture boards, Smartbox devices and Makaton.
  • Some personal care may be involved, in addition to companionship, taking part in celebrations, events, fundraising, and other ways of interacting with the local community.
Successful Applicant:
  • Must be able to drive
  • Hold a Level 3 diploma in Helath & Social Care
  • Previous experience in care isessential.
  • Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, nights, and weekends).
