Job Description

Service Engineer required. My client is a leading supplier and maintainer of Pumping and Power Generation equipment across Scotland and England. They are looking to bring on board a Service Engineer to look after their Pumping / Power equipmentand ancillaries across the North West of England. The ideal candidate will have hands on Pumping / Power Generation Experience, will have experience across fault finding, diagnosis, maintenance and repair and will be based locally to Wigan.You will need a full Driving licence for this position. Service Engineer Position Overview

  • To service equipment on customer sites and to respond to call-outs when needed
  • To work closely with the Hire Controller, Driver and Fitters to ensure all hires proceed smoothly
  • To work on the repair and maintenance of Pumps
  • To service, repair and overhaul equipment and associated components both within the depot, at customer premises and third party sites
  • To assist with the loading and unloading of pumps and generators onto the lorry for deliveries through the use of Hi-Ab Lorry Mounted Crane and Forklift Truck
  • Travelling throughout the North / North East of Scotland
Service Engineer Position Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Service Engineer position essential with the ability to work autonomously
  • Strong working knowledge of plant equipment, specifically Submersible and High Head Pumps
  • First-hand experience with Fault Finding, Diagnosis, Maintenance and Repair
  • Diesel Pump experience specifically, would be advantageous
  • CSCS Card desirable
  • Full Driving licence
  • Based locally to Aberdeen
Service Engineer Position Remuneration
  • £26,000 - £29,000 DOE
  • Company Van, Fuel card, Specialist Tools provided
  • 40 hours a week Monday - Friday 8:00 - 16:30
  • 33 Days holiday inclusive of public holidays
  • Pension
