Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to join our team, based in Wigan. You will be working on a full time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week. We’re proud to employ the most talented, driven individuals within the property services sector.Responsibilities for this Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer role are:Undertake the servicing, repairing and maintenance of Domestic heating systemsComplete works in accordance with specification and gas safe regulationsCompletion of all relevant paperworkEnsure customer satisfaction and safetyParticipate in out of hours works, including overtime and call outWork to operational procedures, safe working practices and H&S proceduresReporting of all accidents, near miss events or potential hazardsUndertake all other maintenance works within remitWork flexibly with a diverse range of customersWhat we are looking for in our ideal Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer:Recognised formal training attaining the relevant craft qualification, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalentACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWATUNVENTED qualifications are desirable but not essentialUnderstanding of gas legislationFull driving licenseUnderstanding of Health and Safety and working to best practiceAbility to manage own time and workloadExperience of working with the public, demonstrating excellent customer service and having flexibilityWe offer a range of benefits for a rewarding career including though not limited to:
