Job Description

Resourcery Group have been engaged by a busy and fast-paced business to secure a highly experienced Senior Credit Controller to join their team. You will manage the end-to-end credit control and risk process with the support from the billing team.Duties & Responsibilities will include:

  • Full management of the debtor portfolio and collection of overdue debts
  • Pro-active management of debtors by telephone and email
  • Timely resolution of customer invoice queries
  • Preparation and issue of customer statements
  • Set, review, and monitor customer credit limits to mitigate risk.
  • Order to cash management, account escalation, agree preventative action to mitigate further risk.
  • Cash allocation, cash posting, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Work closely with the billing team to reduce billing errors to facilitate prompt payment.
  • Management of dispute resolution within agreed SLAs to maximise cash flow.
  • Reconciliation of customer accounts
  • Work closely with the payables team for timely completion of accounts with contra agreements.
  • Completion of the month-end close
  • Seek and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Support with ad-hoc projects
    • Skills & Experience Required:
  • Experienced Senior Credit Controller with hands-on experience
  • Proven experience in the reconciliation of complex customer accounts
  • High degree of accuracy and efficient with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Confident with diplomacy and negotiation skills
  • Able to manage data in Microsoft Excel, ideally with Sage experience.
  • Preferably qualified or studying CICM.

You will have a great degree of autonomy with the support of the billing team and wider finance team. You will build firm relationship with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
