Job Description

Tradewind are recruiting!Are you a recent Science graduate looking for laboratory experience Or maybe you have school Science Technician experience and are looking for your next roleTradewind are recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools based in Wigan who are looking to appoint a Science Technician to start ASAP until February half-term in the first instance.The role:

  • Science Technician
  • Wigan School
  • January until February half-term
  • Experience of COSHH and laboratory health and safety requirements
  • Pay from £75 to £80 per day
The school: The appointed Science Technician will be joining an Ofsted rated Good (March 2022) secondary school whose students are proud to be part of this welcoming school community. Pupils work hard and take advantage of the many opportunities offered to them by leadersand teachers.The essentials:
  • A science related degree
  • Laboratory experience
  • A knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete career history
  • Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
