We are seeking a Safety and Management Systems Advisor who will be accountable for supporting the SHEQ Manager in various SHEQ matters, offering professional advicewithin the Calisen Group, aid in achieving company strategic goals through formal management systems, and contribute to maintaining and developing ISO certified systems aligned with business needs, while also providing support for relevant contract tenders.This is a permanent, full-time role opportunity working 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to work from home while spending a minimum of 2 days per week at the Wigan office. The annual salaryfor this position is to be discussed dependent on experience between £32,000 - £37,000.What you’ll do in the roleAs a vital member of our Compliance team, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of policies, processes, and systems to support our companys SHEQ programme, ensuring compliance with relevant management system standards. Your responsibilitieswill include managing internal audits, participating in external audits, and serving as the Standards Advisor for ISO 14001, 45001, 22301, and 9001. You will represent the Compliance department at meetings, provide reports on SHEQ standards, and assist inimplementing SHEQ good/best practice initiatives. Additionally, you will provide consistent and accurate Quality advice, support business units on Quality initiatives, and contribute to fostering a positive SHEQ culture within the organization. Your role willinvolve assisting in the management of inspections, tours, and contact visit programmes, maintaining statutory assessment programmes, and collaborating with external bodies to identify and deliver best practices. Effective communication of SHEQ informationand training at all levels and active participation in external audits will be integral to your contribution.What we’re looking for
