Job Description

TEACHER OF PE/DANCEMain pay scaleWiganWe are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher of PE with dance to join a secondary school in Wigan on a supply basis, until the end of the academic year. The position will be main scale, teaching across the age range and would suit someone new to the professionor with some experience looking to move to a different environment.They require someone who can teach Dance also to KS3/KS4.CONTRACT DETAILS

  • Location - Wigan
  • Position - PE Teacher
  • Type of work - Temporary, day to day
  • Start date - January 2024
  • Duration - ongoing
  • Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay - £120 per day
  • Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm, plus parents evenings and departmental meetings as required
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • QTS, QTLS or equivalent
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
  • Up to date Prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
