Job Description

Do you want to work for a highly reputable and growing company, offering an excellent salary and benefits package, including flexible part time working hoursWe are actively seeking a Payroll Manager (Part Time) for a well established company in Tyldesley, Manchester.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.The hours of work are 20 hours per week, which can be done over 3 or 4 days.The main duties include:

  • Monthly administration of payroll for all staff including collation of hours, calculation of sick pay, parental pay, holiday pay, accurate deductions, submission of pay to payroll system, distribution of payslips, and schedule of bank payments.
  • Pension administration including enrolment and leavers, monthly submission contributions and annual compliance review
  • Administration of payroll provision ensuring deadlines are met and timely submission of HMRC files including RTIs, P60s and P11Ds
  • Administer life insurance and private medial schemes
  • Review, update and align group employment contracts and variation to contracts in line with authorised management requests.
  • Review current processes to comply with GDPR guidelines
Our client is looking for a candidate who has:
  • Payroll processing experience
  • An up to date knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience of using payroll software
