Maintenance EngineerApprentice TrainedStarting at £11.86 per hour raising after 3 monthOvertime Available takes to £30k+We have a brilliant opportunity for Mechanical Maintenance Fitter with engineering experience to join a team working on a site in the Warrington area.The Role:You will be carrying out mechanical preventative maintenance duties across the site, attending breakdowns, completing remedial correctives and improving the plants availability and reliability. Working hours: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pm) Some paid overtime will be necessary. Skills / Experience Required:You should have experience within of carrying out mechanical maintenance tasks within an industrial manufacturing environment, and experience of working with the following equipment would be an advantage: * Chain conveyors * Power hydraulics * Pneumatics controls * Pneumatic tools * Bearings * Couplings * Gearboxes * Chain drives * Some welding and fabrication * General factory mechanical maintenance * Some electrical knowledge on fault finding and rectification would be preferred.Qualifications:* You must hold mechanical qualification (i.e. City & Guilds / BTEC / NVQ Level 3). * Preferably apprentice trained with two years experience. * We will provide a strong health and safety culture and for motivated employees, ample personal development opportunities. * Proof of eligibility to work in the UK will be required.Acorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
