Job Title: Business and IT TeacherLocation: WiganStart Date: September 2024Salary: £170-£200 per day (dependant on experience)Are you a passionate and dedicated Business and IT Teacher with a proven track record in strong behaviour management We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Secondary School Business and IT Teacher to join an OFSTED rated Good school in Wigan.This is a temporary position starting September 2024 till at least December with the potential to carry on further.Key Responsibilities:- Planning and preparing Business and IT lessons up to KS4 level.- Utilize strong behaviour management strategies to ensure a conducive atmosphere for learning.- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal development.- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.- Marking students work promptly and providing detailed feedback.- Set and manage homework assignments to reinforce classroom learning.- Participate in parents evenings and communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the Business and IT department and the school.Requirements:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE in Secondary Education.
