Job Description

Maintenance Electrician required. My Client is a leading Resin and Polymers manufcaturer based in Wigan that supply products to a range of industries globally. They are looking to employ a Maintenance Electrician to bolster Service and Repairtheir team. The ideal candidate will have have Electrical maintenance and repair experinece, will be Electricall Qualified and will be based within a commutable distance of Wigan.Maintenance Electrician Position Overview

  • Maintenance and repairs of electrical plant equipment where necessary
  • Installation of Chemical plant equipment where necessary
  • Testing and Calibrating to Quality Control Specifications
  • Resolve any unplanned breakdowns
  • Responding to required corrective and preventive actions
  • Liaise with Maintenance Manager to ensure all items required for scheduled shut down are obtained and that stoppage time is minimised
  • Accurately complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner
Maintenance Electrician Position Requirements
  • Previous experience in an Electrical Maintenance role essential
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Qualified in Electrical Engineering / Maintenance
  • City and Guilds Test and Inspect advantageous
  • COMPEX Certified
  • Proficient in Fault Finding, Diagnosis, Maintenance and Repair
  • Any experience working on a COMAH will be advantageous
  • Based within a commutable distance of Wigan
Maintenance Electrician Position Remuneration
  • £18.00 - 19.83 per hour DOE
  • Monday - Friday 8:00 - 16:30 - 42.5 hours a week (£43,824.50 per annum)
  • 28 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
  • Pension
