Exciting opportunity for a General Manager to make their mark at a growing dealership in Wigan.

Overseeing a management team of 2 sales managers, plus aftersales manager.Associated support staff including 6 sales execs and 6 techniciansAs well as front of house staff, accounts and service advisors.This is an awesome opportunity for somebody to get to grips with a really interesting dealership. Recently refurbished following heavy investment. Owned by an established UK dealer group who have a track record of success across the UK, with multiple brands.You will oversee approx. 25 staff with a long term plan to grow to 35-40. Ambitions of retailing 100 used car per month and 60-70 new cars (across 3 franchises)This site needs a real focus on the basics - process, looking after customers, used car prep, manufacturer standards and a focus on a real plan for growth, with the targets and expectations budgeted realistically.You will have full support from the franchise director (based locally) and experienced colleagues who have worked with these brands for years. It will be challenging; dealing with 3 manufacturers, 3 types of accounting, reporting and IT systems and to thatextent you must be organised, diligent and willing to get to grips with things and exert control.This is a hands-on job.
