Electrical Design Engineer (Instrumentation)£55,000 - £60,000 + 24 Days Holiday + Progression + Company Benefits Wigan, LancashireAre you a Design Engineer with an Electrical/Instrumentation background looking to join a highly successful company offering a challenging yet rewarding position, with plenty of responsibility, recognition, and to head up your own design team in the next 2yearsOn offer is an amazing opportunity to demonstrate your design expertise in a continuously growing company, operating as one of the leading Design Engineers in the department.In this office based role you will be responsible for the design of control systems and panels for onshore oil and gas projects, using AutoCAD. You will be creating conceptual designs, line diagrams, and cable schedules, along with liaising with customers.There will be initial training given on specific processes with the opportunity to head up your own design team in a couple of years.This highly innovative E&I Engineering company boast a tight-knit team and work within the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, industrial, and manufacturing sectors, with clear growth plans to rapidly expand due to recent success.This role would suit an Electrical/Instrumentation Design Engineer looking for a highly autonomous role where they will be recognised as a technical expert in their field.The Role:

  • Designing control systems and panels using AutoCAD
  • Creating line diagram drawings and cable schedules
  • Visiting client sites for consultations
  • Progression to Team Leader
  • Monday to Friday at the office, 8:30am - 4:30pm

  • Electrical/Instrumentation Design Engineer
  • AutoCAD experience
