Full Time Role - Qualified Driver Trainer - Mon to Fri - 42.5hrs per week Starting salary of £33,475Uplift of £1,545 after successful completion of probation periodAnnual bonuses of up to £4,000Reporting into Driver Trainer ManagerYour RoleCarrying out site inductions for new LGV drivers, driver assessments and completing relevant assessment paperworkEnsuring compliance with Safe Systems of Work, both practical and written and are fully signed offConducting remedial training for new drivers - post accident.Completing relevant sign off paperworkUphold the standards of Challenge Trg and external clients for quality and audit purposesConducting spot checks on drivers/identifying unsafe practices being carried out by driversReporting Health and Safety concerns on site, both written and electronically.Carrying out compliance training for drivers with infringementsProfessional attitude with internal and external clientsYour Essential SkillsAbility to manage changeIT literate with a good knowledge of all Microsoft softwareAbility to communicate effectively both written and verbalExperience of On Road driving assessmentsAbility to instruct and assist with new pass drivers where further training may be requiredExperience in compliance and infringement trainingExperience in remedial and corrective trainingKnowledge of Tachograph/Eu Driving Hours/Road Transport Working Time DirectiveFlexible with occasional weekend working and daily start and finish timesYour Qualifications & ExperienceRTITB or NVDIR desirableSimilar LGV qualificationA minimum of 1 year in a similar roleA minimum of 3 years continuous LGV driving experienceA clean valid license/Digital Tachograph Card/DCPC CardMust have driven an LGV in the last 6 monthsOwn car to travel between sitesYour Benefits Company uniformMileage allowance when travelling away from your base31 days holiday (including BH), increase of 1 day per year, capped at 5yrsStandard pensionIT resource as requiredAccess to CPD courses both for work and personal gainOpportunity to gain new qualifications (application on an individual basis)Bonus scheme
