Job Description

Job Type: Permanent Job Title: Divisional/Operations Manager Salary: £60-65k + package (potentially higher for the right candidate) Type of Work: M&E Services within Social Housing Refurbishment and New BuildA well established and expanding Contractor are looking to recruit a Divisional/Operations Manager to join them on a permanent basis.As a result of internal promotion due to growth, they have a vacancy for a Divisional Manager to manage the operations of two successful divisions within the business including Social Housing Refurbishment and New Build Private Homes. Reporting to the Directors of the business, you will be responsible for dealing with contracts at a high level. Duties will include:

  • Manage the day to day operations of the business, but also manage best practice.
  • Managing a team which consists of 5 Contracts Managers and their subsequent reports
  • Delivering successful presentations to Clients
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients
  • Promote and maintain the highest standards of health and safety
  • Financial Reporting
The successful candidate must be personable, approachable and be able to demonstrate strong leadership, commercial and people management skills.
  • You must have a strong construction background, ideally with Housing.
  • A mechanical background is ideal, but not essential.
  • IOSH, NEBOSH tickets are ideal but not essential
