Job Description

Job Profile for Process Production Operator - Weekdays - RE190631Production Process Operator required. My Client is a leading Resin and Polymers manufacturer based in Wigan that supply products to a range of industries globally. They are looking to employ a Production Operator to bolster their Days team. The ideal candidatewill have production experience, ideally some exposure to either the chemical or plastics sector and be base within a commutable distance of Wigan.Process Production Operator - Weekdays Position Overview

  • Ensuring process and operational activities are carried out in compliance with SHEQ requirements
  • Manufacturing products in accordance with formulation Batch instructions and specification
  • Making accurate additions or adjustments to the manufacturing process
  • Completing necessary documentation
  • Undertaking FLT duties when required
  • Participating in Design / Hazard reviews
Process Production Operator - Weekdays Position Requirements
  • Previous experience in a production focused role is essential
  • An understanding of Chemical processes would be advantageous
  • Experienced in the use of FLTs and holding the associated licences
  • NVQ Level 2 qualified in Production / Engineering / Chemical
  • IOSH qualified would be highly advantageous
  • Experience with sampling and product testing would be beneficial
  • Based within a commutable distance of Wigan
  • Full UK Driving licence
Process Production Operator - Weekdays Position Remuneration
  • £10.00 - £11.83p per hour DOE
  • Monday - Friday, 6am - 6pm, 50 hour week
  • Any additional hours over 50 hours a week paid at £15.09 per hour
  • 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
  • Pension
