Job Description

Position: CEO - Not for Profit Organisation Location: Wigan, UKResourcery Group are pleased to partner with a highly successful Not for Profit organisation based in Wigan, UK. Our client has experienced significant growth and is now seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join their team as CEO.With a team of 22 highly skilled and dedicated individuals, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead a successful organisation and drive it to further heights. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong and effective leadership, with a proven track record in senior leadership roles within a regulated financial services business (e.g. credit union, banking, accounting, or the third sector).
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the organisation forward, with a focus on delivering value and meeting the needs of members and the market.
  • Demonstrate excellent financial literacy, including proficiency in P&L, budgeting, management accounts, and trial balance interpretation, and effectively manage financial and operational performance.
  • Lead, coach, and collaborate with staff, volunteers, and the Board of Directors to achieve success and maintain a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a regulated financial services business (e.g. credit union, banking, accounting, or the third sector).
  • Demonstrated strategic planning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and prioritise the needs and demands of members and the market.
  • Strong financial literacy and proficiency in P&L, budgeting, management accounts, and trial balance interpretation, with a focus on financial and operational performance management.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.

  • Salary is £55,000-£65,000 (FTE)
  • Site based role around Wigan, Chroley and Warrington sites
  • Ability to work either a 37 hour or 30 hour week
  • Flexible working approach
