Job Description

Are you an experienced bookkeeper looking for a competitive salary and benefitsThen read on!BOOKKEEPERUp to £22,000 (D.O.E.) + BenefitsWiganOur client is a small but rapidly growing firm of forward thinking Chartered Accountants, with a focus on the e-commerce sector. They are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join their team.Duties & responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of bookkeeping clients in the e-commerce sector using Xero software
  • Set up and management of integration of Xero between various platforms and marketplaces (Shopify, Amazon, Ebay, Etsy, WooCommerce etc.) using software such as A2X
  • Processing of purchase invoices using Receipt Bank
  • Processing of online payroll for your portfolio of clients using BrightPay
  • Preparation of UK VAT returns
  • Preparation of information to enable completion of US GST returns and EU VAT returns
  • Bank reconciliations
    • Experience & skills
  • Experience of working as a bookkeeper within a practice setting, ideally with e-commerce clients
  • Experience of using cloud accounting software (desirable)
  • AAT Qualified (desirable)
