Bench Hand Joiner/Wood MachinistAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Bench Hand Joiner/Wood Machinist to join a leading joinery manufacturer. Our client Image Joinery is based in Wigan, Lancashire and the successful Bench Hand Joiner/Wood Machinist will earn a competitive salary andovertime will be paid at time and a half.As a Bench Hand Joiner/Wood Machinist, you will be responsible for manufacturing bespoke joinery products such as windows, doors, stairs and counters.You will join a workforce with incredible depth of knowledge and form a crucial part of the team.This position would suit an individual who would like to work on a varied and interesting range of quality products.Role RequirementsTo be considered for the position of Bench Hand Joiner/Wood Machinist, you must have demonstrable experience using hand tools and woodworking machinery. In addition, the following key skills and experience are essential:

  • Able to work on your own or in a team.

  • Pride in their craftsmanship.

  • Ensuring that allocated operation times are achieved.
  • To be aware of and observe personal health and safety and that of colleagues.
