Job Description

E-Commerce Accounts Senior £30,000 - £38,000 D.O.E.Wigan37.5 hr week (Flexible working & Hybrid working (up to 2 days per week WFH) Butler Rose are pleased to be working with a firm of chartered accountants focused on the e-commerce sector with two directors, both chartered accountants.Duties & responsibilities

  • Being the day-to-day contact for a portfolio of clients, focused within the e-commerce sector
  • Supervising a small team
  • Preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax returns from TB stage
  • Preparation of management accounts including analysis and commentary
  • Preparation of financial forecasts using advanced forecasting tools
  • Preparation of self assessment tax returns
  • Set up and management of integration of Xero between various platforms & marketplaces (Shopify, Amazon, Ebay, Etsy, WooCommerce etc.)
  • Review and filing of UK VAT returns
  • Advising clients on international VAT & GST obligations
Experience & skills
  • Newly qualified Chartered accountant (ICAEW/ICAS/ACCA) or PQ (study support available)
  • 2 years+ experience of working in a practice environment
  • Experience of using cloud accounting software (preferably Xero) Your new firm
