WAREHOUSE OPERATIVESWEEKLY ROTATING SHIFT: MONDAY - FRIDAY: 07.00 - 15.00 / 15.00 - 23.00 -£13.32 PER HOURFIXED NIGHT SHIFT: SUNDAY - THURSDAY: 23.00 - 07.00 -£15.33 PER HOUR£17.67 PER HOUR OVERTIMEPeople Solutions are looking for Warehouse Operatives for our Client based in Runcorn.The site will eventually be moving to Widnes so you will need to be able to get to both Runcorn and Widnes.This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a company that can offer long term work.Benefits:

Day to Day DutiesYour responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative will include but are not limited to:

Moving and transporting stock into the correct areas of the warehouse
Receiving and unpacking incoming goods and taking inventories as required
Organising stock for deliveries and wrapping and securing
Stacking and stowing pallets away
Picking and packing goods for customer despatch
Adhering to Health & Safety at all times and promoting a safe working environment
Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
Organising stock for deliveries and reporting any stock difference to Management
Promoting a safe work environment and reporting any safety concerns or issues to Management
Clearing work area of any debris and keeping the traffic routes clear of obstructions.
Reporting faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor.
Other duties as assigned

Essential Skills

Must have at least six months experience working as a Warehouse Operative for this role
Punctuality and good time-keeping skills
Strong teamwork skills
Flexibility and ability to work overtime as and when required
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Ability to pay close attention to detail and adhere to deadlines
Must pass a basic English & Numeracy Test and be able to prove your Right to Work in the UK
